I bought two phone on the previous sale of this item about 2 weeks ago and had to send them back (different seller, but the same condition description). It was not refurbished as in it was returned and fixed or someone just changed their mind. Both phones were used and abused. More likely the buy back phones in lieu of a new phone that the wireless companies sometimes do. Anyway, take it for what it's worth.
