These are well worth the price depending on how and where they're used. I have one in my office pointed in such a way that views only people entering/leaving and not at my monitors/keyboard.
There is much debate on how/where the data packets are being sent. Simply do an internet search on "Wyzecam china" then look for the Reddit discussions. In one of the discussions, "Tao from the WyzeCam engineering team" claims that the "user information and alert videos are stored on AWS . However the streaming service is through a commercial IoT streaming provider which has servers at different locations."
I still haven't gotten mine from last time, they've sent several apologies and updates, and I'm not concerned. It'll arrive eventually. But I think it's irresponsible to keep posting this while the product is still being delayed.
