Sounds like a great deal. My only reservation is that they might 'find' $1000 worth of new parts needed before they can certify your alignment the first time. But, might be credible.
Having just had a Firestone alignment on my 2wd truck, I'd pass. They didn't adjust caster and told me I needed to pay for a $2 shim pack and $80 in additional labor to correct it. $80 for their 'standard' 12 month alignment is pretty steep for a simple toe-in adjustment. The joke is on them though, I have 3 vehicles needing tires this year, and I won't be buying Firestone/Bridgestone any more.
This is a mix bag. They will do an alignment only if the manufacture says it is possible. For example, my car needs a camber adjustment. However, because the manufacturer says that camber is not adjustable, they will not adjust it. On my other car, the print out says it needs a caster alignment. However, once again the manufacture says that the caster is not adjustable so they will not do it. So, before buying ask Firestone what is and is not adjustable on the car.
It's difficult to find someone who is good at alignments. I paid for one of these lifetime deals at a local shop, I wasn't impressed. Also be sure to check your tire pressure after your tires are warmed up. Most people who do alignments don't bother to check & it will throw your results off.
