Don't they make one with 8 antennas, so I can turn it upside down and make a spider out of it?

Really good price. I have no issue throwing 1080p throughout the house with the older AC1900 standard but to throw 4K, NEED MORE BANDWIDTH! Good deal!

6 antennas is nice, but sure would be nice if one was external so you could move like 20 feet away.

Netgear routers ****!!! setup is not friendly at all and customer service is horrible with foreigner speaking English. I ended up returning it to
Amazon
and settle for Linksys which has very good reviews almost 4,000. Will stay away from Netgear for now.

I've been using Netgear for years, always had great service, but when they die, they die hard... Linksys doesn't offer free Parental Controls like Netgear does...

Netgear routers are great!!!.....after you install open firmware like dd-wrt and get rid of their slow, bloated software.

These have no use after internet carrier-specific routers have been introduced. Could this replace ATT router that comes with their service?

Never had good experience with Netgear routers either, then again I've only had 1 Linksys and that worked for years.

I'm really considering getting this but I'm not sure it outperforms Linksys EA9500? Any thoughts on this if I'm a heavy streamer?

Internet carrier-specific routers (built into Internet modems), aside from being being low power locked down trash with highly limited and often non-updateable firmware, give the service providers unlimited access to your home network.

Unlimited access to your entire home network.

Do you really want some bored graveyard shift employee (maybe in India) spelunking through your files, pictures, videos and email?

The first thing I did when I got Internet service was buy my own modem and a separate router.
