I've had a model similar to these for 5 years, tack on a Bluetooth amp for $50 and you've got a an excellent sound system

Skip. Sony died years ago, just no one mentioned it to them. Proprietary, over-priced mediocre offerings. Especially their speakers. Inferior sound for the price IMHO.
