from my own experience, I've vacuumed sealed avocados and kept them in the fridge (not the freezer) for more than TWO WEEKS and they were still good. I recommend plastic containers too (not just the bags) and i put fruits in those. The point is that you do save money by not throwing away the fruits and vegetables.
