Requires a GE Home Automation Switch. This is NOT a standalone switch. (This product is an add-on only switch, and requires an existing GE Home Automation Switch to function. Without a GE Home Automation Switch, the Add-On Switch WILL NOT OPERATE.)

this is just a regular momentary contact switch, it does nothing other than touch wires together which need to be connected to a wifi switch, which will run about 35 bucks. these add-on switches just let you add more switches down the line, but dont have any smarts built in.
