Looking at the specs and seeing all low end components, this is a low end bike and the price is appropriate.

^ yes but Name Brand components do a55ure a certain quality level over generics, that can be upgraded as the need and budget dictate, rather than paying a premium for all better components, plus free shipping, no tax (for most). It's a reasonable entry level bike for those who would ride nothing rougher than fire trails.
