You can get a 42x42 inch raised bed that works fine from walmuck, these may look nicer but are twice as much.

Not to mention, 1/2" thick wood is likely going to warp, pretty badly, once you fill this with dirt, especially at 10" high, unless you use something to stake the center of the boards.
