The Boy's now in College could use new gaming machines and love to build on a 1700 tray chip or w/o the cooler and just get a good 240mm AIO and OC it to hopefully 4.0Ghz.
Haven't seen true new "tray" P/N's most are used and probably boutique/custom builders tried and didn't get them a respectable OC, and they aren't cheaper than new boxed with a Wraith Spire Cooler. Next I'd rather wait for the next round of motherboard design/Rev's, but that not showing either. Then 16Gb memory is still exorbitant not to even think of a graphics card.

The 1700x on is $100 less. Also, Jet's starting price is showing as $329, not $309.
