That phone has only 4 Gb of storage. Could you even install a browser or youtube without running out of space? What a pile of garbage.

^ Yeah but as a backup /emergency phone with no monthly charge, what does that matter so long as it makes calls and texts?

If you're looking for a "glove box" phone, too, check out Tello's PAYG plan. It's the best I found for the purpose.

I had this phone years ago when Sprint pre-paid was selling it at
BestBuy
for $40 (no FreedomPop, just used it on WiFi only). It was a very good smartphone at the time: great battery life, nice screen (albeit not super high rez), faster than my previous phone, rooted real smooth and easy using official LG tools, very stable. But yeah, the 4GB internal memory was -extremely- tight. I had to uninstall pretty much all Google apps updates and lock them back to their original factory versions to keep the phone from bloating out and crashing due to no internal flash. On the plus side, this phone accepted my 128GB microSD card without problem, so I was able to offload a lot of apps into the SD and still had lots of space for music/videos/etc. I don't recall having any trouble with using YouTube on this phone. I used Dentex YouTube Downloader v4. 8.3 a LOT on this phone to grab videos at Lowes/Walmart and watched them at home (no Internets). Worked great!
