I have 4 of these. They are not bad for the price but there are a *lot* of limitations. Though those are all software, so there is hope it gets better.
First and foremost, you can't easily toggle alerts. So unless you have a camera where you always want to know if there's motion/sound, those features get annoying.
Second, you can only view video on the app right now. Most cameras have some sort of web interface to view video but Wyze is only viewable on the app.
Third, you can do constant recording with an SD card but there isn't really a way to get that data off the card. You can view into the past in the app, but I am hoping for some way to actually get access to the files so I can send them to the cloud. Alternatively some inexpensive constant recording would be awesome.
On the plus side, it's cheap as heck and reasonably good quality. Pairing was surprisingly easy. The SD card record loop is nice and to set it up you just have to put in an SD card.
This looks to be a copy ofthe xiaomi wifi camera. I ordered one from gearbest for a little less than this. Waited 4 weeks for it be delivered, and then the wifi didn't work on it (or at lease I couldnt figure out how to get it to work as all the instructions were in Chineese.
