I have installed Windows 7 and 10 on NVMe devices. They are quite fast. The only problem I've had is that if I boot off a spinner with the NVMe drive attached, Windows decides to use it as it's page file. Whatever it does to effect that, Windows will no longer boot off the NVMe drive and repair is not possible. Windows must be reinstalled on the NVMe drive for it to boot again.
