The resell market on and the like appears to have normalized since I last checked. Retail with tax, you'll probably get it for around $87. seems to average around $120 with free shipping. So, it looks like $30 "surcharge" is the norm now for one of these.
I snagged 2 of these from back in December from my local store. Kept one in the box and the other one to play. This comes with 2 controllers which is awesome. Most resellers should be losing money selling these on after all the various fees so I don't know why they are still buying them to resell, or maybe they are just trying to clear out their inventory.
Download a SNES emulator and discover the world of emulation.... You'll never want one of these after you take the step into emulation. Then go for MAME and the lifelong quest to accumulate as many game ROMs as possible. It's madness... But your save many a quarter, unless you blow all that saved money on building a MAME cabinet...
