There's a reason these have been around for 30 years. My first pair lasted nearly 20 years until their untimely death (my fault), and I didn't hesitate to buy another set. For $60, they're a ridiculously good deal, and they'll put most sub $400 headphones to shame. The ear pads are extremely soft and comfortable, so if you use them a lot, they'll eventually wear out and start to peel, but you can get inexpensive replacement pads online. If you're in the market, just get these. You won't be disappointed.
