If you're senior or have balance problems, this unit can be improved with a 3rd party handle to replace the knee-steering unit. The result is a true Segway-like experience, with enhanced safety and stability.
With or without the handle the MiniPro is wonderful for buzzing around in my retirement neighborhood, and should be just as effective in industrial and academic settings. A terrific product!
Just reaching the market is a newer edition with the ability to work in a "follow me" mode, but in all other respects it is a major step backwards!
