Good for occasional use, but gets way too hot during file transfers, often resulting in errors and early death.

Unlike the some of the previous posts, I actually have one of these and they are markedly lower temp than the all metal ones that are pictured. That is not to say they don't get hot, they do, just not as bad as the metal ones.

I still think their getting hot has more to do with having flaky power to the USB port. All my Ultra Fits and Ultra Flairs get warm but not hot. None have slowed or locked up as some describe when theirs gets hot.
