That's a really nice deal. But if you want speed, remember USB 3 is fast and USB 2 is very slow. Which is fine for transfering a small amount of videos. A 1 minute video might take 7 minutes to transfer on USB 2, or 20 seconds on USB 3. So overall this deal is wonderful.

USB 2.0 read speeds typically go up to around 33MB/s for a large sequential read but let's say under half that, 16MB/s. 7 minutes x 60 sec/min x 16MB/sec = 6.7GB for one minute of video? I don't think so! A minute of 1080p H.264 video is around 18MB, would take a USB2 flash drive less than two seconds.
