^ Yes but those figures have to be taken with a grain of salt. I have this in the 128GB version, which may be a little faster as the 64GB and 128GB usually are, but it gets 43MB/s Sequential Write, 2MB/s 4K Write on Crystal Diskmark.
USB2 drives usually don't write faster than 15MB/s sequential, maybe a Sandisk Extreme with a tail wind.
Well, I tried 2 USB 2.0 flash drives on my system, a 4GB and a 64GB. They got 7MBs for the (obviously ancient) 4GB and 43MBs for the 64GB using HD_Speed. I expect the USB 3 drives to do better.
^ You must have had some kind of OS caching causing a false reading. USB2 literally can't do over ~ 35MB/s and that's with a device capable of faster writing like HDD or SSD. Try benching with Crystal Diskmark.
This Sandisk Ultra Flair is not one of the fastest, but it has better than average performance at a lower than average cost per GB compared to other slim (USB connector shell form factor) flash drives.
