not too bad of a deal. but 1) lacks chime, which is important IMO, ~$30 2) older model 3) costco has the newer one for $189 w/ chime.

"Rejected by Shark Tank" but
Amazon
bought for 1 Billion. Great product but Nest Hello is giving it some competition.

This is an awesome security product, as long as the bad guys use the front door.

Also very popular are the reddit threads of customers complaining that their Ring device doesn't work properly.

"Rejected by Shark Tank"

Richard Branson invested in Ring two years after the Sharks rejected it.

This is an awesome security product, as long as the bad guys use the front door.Someone going to your back door easily looks suspicious. Sometimes bad guys come to your front door just to figure out if you're home.

I have Ring 2 in front door and 1st generation Ring on back door. It’s peace of mind when you’re away from home.I’m using it more than two years and I am so happy that I have This product.

I had a terrible experience with the Ring Pro. First one was DOA. Exchanged it for new one but had inconsistent performance. Bought a ridiculously high powered router and swapped out a transformer for added power to the doorbell in an effort to eliminate any possibility of the problem being something other than the actual Ring device — the Ring’s performance didn’t change. At all. Their tech support was friendly and offered to send me one direct from their HQ. Well, it worked for about a day and a half before images became pixelated and the day/night vision got stuck in permanent black and white. Tech support basically gave up as they had no other answer for the problems I was experiencing. My conclusion: it was an inferior product. I returned the Ring doorbell and went with Arlo. I have been very pleased with it (8 months and counting).
