That's true, but depends on how much TV you watch. All Access gives you all the previous seasons of most of their shows, as well as complete series of old shows like Twin Peaks, Star Trek, etc. and some Paramount movies.

But you have to agree Sharik that getting one over the air channel at $6 a month doesn't make a lot of sense. If you extend this to ABC, NBC and TNT you're already paying $24 a month for only 4 channels. You might as well get cable and these plus a 100 others then you can get all these apps on your Firestick for free and get the benefits you just mentioned.

@ Shmeagle I agree, they're gonna get you somehow! It's the way the content providers are going. Disney pulling out of Netflix to set up their own service... At this rate, cord cutters will be paying $100+ / month like they used to with cable.

Cord cutting when it first started being a thing, was suppose to be a money saver. But now it just looks like a way for even Network stations to cash in. CBS ALL Access is just a money grab. Sure they are starting by putting their new Star Trek show only on this service. BTW everywhere outside the US can view it on Netflix.
But what if CBS decides to move a large chunk of their popular programing to this service exclusively? So then cable subs might just get the news and reruns.
I really hope this service fails because if it doesn't , you can bet ABC, NBC and many other cable channels will follow this model. Whatever makes them the most money is what their going to do.
This could lead to consumers not only paying way more then they already do, but make watching TV way more complicated.

I would love to get antenna, they just don't make one that will pull in a single channel where I live, bad reception or no reception is true for a lot of people.

CBS, the social network. Every Hollywood TV personality that spoke out against Trump, CBS is employing them.

This is not a fabrication, it is facts!

It might be a bad thing if all networks go streaming, or a good thing. It at least gives the "ala carte" programming people have been screaming about for so long. You no longer have to pay for football games, if you don't watch football. What I don't like about it is the lack of a third party DVR that lets you skip commercials. I love my Tivo.
