Yes, it seems so, but I just upgraded my OEM Win10 OS to Win10 pro, and it took. There's also lots of feedback on the interwebs that this works. Not sure how they get away with it, but you're only risking 10 bux. They take paypal payment and send you the activation code via Email. Ironically enough, the only reason I upgraded was to use the policy editor to block automated updates. I log into too many WiFi access points to make them all metered. I don't ever log into a domain, and don't really need any other pro features.

Can somebody, anybody, please explain how the heck these can possibly be legitimate offers? The seriously cheap chump part of me so wants to throw money at this but given "someone's" history with SW development I cannot imagine how a corporation who's regularly selling each license for hundreds is also fine with legal copies selling for chump (chimp?) change. Please edumacate me...

Microsoft doesn't care. They want everyone move over to Windows. They make more money if everyone is using Windows. (like Office & other software they can sell if people are using Windows). They probably going to give it free in the future. Just like upgrading from Windows 7 to 10 is free.

Also, I bought Xbox One because I was able to stream my games to Windows 10. So they can also benefit from selling hardware like Xbox One if they can try to convince everyone to move over to Windows. I think in the future, they will try again to give out free Windows or Windows upgrade again. It just benefit Microsoft in the long run.

You can look it like free advertisement for Microsoft. More people use it, more popular Windows will be and they will indirectly benefit from corporate too because a lot of people are exposed to Windows than other operating system.

At some point, these cheap key sites are going to cause you trouble. They are using widely available free/semi-free MSDN accounts to harvest keys and resell for a profit. When M$ figures it out, they'll deactivate your key.

It might be easier to get your own MSDN account or just buy a retail key to avoid issues down the line.

There is simply no way these are legit retail keys.

@dpjax, "When M$ figures it out, they'll deactivate your key". WHEN M$ FIGURES IT OUT??? SCDKeys and a few others have been around for years, They didn't just start selling keys yesterday. MS has been aware of it for many years. MS has a boatload of lawyers working in this country and around the world fighting piracy. Google is your friend, try searching for statements DIRECT FROM MS (not third party statements or speculation) of outrage from MS over the selling of keys from them. As far as buying keys from the company in this deal, and various other https://coupons.bensbargains.com/redirects/clickTrack?widget_view_id=14&page_view_id=3&platform=desktop&page_merchant_id=9&test_variation_id=0" target="_new">eBay vendors, buyer beware. I'd stick with companies that have been around for years, and have a trusted web presence. Trustpilot.com is your friend.

Not worth it.

There are generally a few different scams that sites like this - be they better known sites like SCDKey or lesser known like this one - fall into:

(1) Key Reuse - Microsoft generally doesn't block the 2nd activation of a key, They will eventually. Whether it's an Academic, MSDN or Volume Licensing - or just a normal retail key - they know.

(2) Data Theft - Small, digital delivery software stores aren't hard to pop up, and the personal data they glean is valuable. They can sell it as marketing lists, if you use a CC directly with them steal your CC, or
target
you themselves on other scams or activities.

(3) Stolen Credit Card burning - Stolen credit cards are - in some ways - tricky to use. Making a fake card is much harder because of the chips (even if you capture chip data), and even online most cards have a shelf life. Buying digital software codes that are hard to revoke, however, is effective. Buy at full price, sell at a 'great price' quickly (so that if it gets revoked it's already been sold off), and you can turn that stolen card into hundreds or thousands of dollars quickly and at low risk.

I'm not even saying 'only buy straight from MS'; Just think about who you trust. Oh,
Staples
coupon code? Sure.
Amazon
random reseller? Maybe. Flybynight.com? Nope, they have a high bar to earn my trust, and a suspiciously low price doesn't help them.

I'm surprised that Ben's list deals like this. I am not saying the offers are bad or good but they certainly look very risky and as Ben's must have a good working relationship with Microsoft it seems a short sighted to risk upsetting them. Microsoft must have a department that scours the web for suspicious ads like this so it is extremely doubtful that they are not aware of who is selling their products at give away prices. Maybe they will turn a blind eye for now and just deny these users of regular Windows 10 updates.

If you wanna pay this little for a code, you might as well head over to
eBay
and get 10 Pro codes for just $6 US. Sellers even have a guarantee to give you a new code when your code "expires"

ONE WAY companies get a ton of Windows10 keys, is from broken Windows10 devices. There are many ways. This might be perfectly legal and upright. We don't know. So be safe, but so far there's no reason to think this is shady. It'll work, it's a real key, but who knows if it's moral or not. I don't know.

Bought the Office key per this offer and the key did not work. Contacted Goodoffer24.com and provided screen shot showing Microsoft did not recognize the key. Goodoffer24.com has NOT provided a working key nearly 3 months later!!!
