My modem has 4 bonded channels downstream and I get about 80-90 Mbps. I'm thinking about replacing it to try to get the "200" my isp says it's providing, but haven't done it because I really doubt I'll see much difference in my real world experience.

Yeah, my ISP states 16x down is needed for 100Mb. They deliberately cap the per channel throughput to spread out the load. However it can help during times of congestion even if you only have a 20-50Mb plan, say on youtube in the evening.
