Nothing under 30, if you want a quality knife. The cheapest good knife they make is the Link. Yeah these are all sharp out of the box, but they have terrible steel, which goes bad quickly, and isn’t fun to sharpen. I may just be a knife and steel snob though
^ You might be, but while I find the usual Chinese 8Cr13MoV found in Kershaw's Chinese imports to be a good value with reasonable edge retention and ease in sharpening, this particular Cathode model uses a little lower grade 4Cr14MoV, so slightly more rust resistant but softer.
Then again, only $14. I just prefer anything but metal for a handle since you can't reasonably expect to use this as a prying tool.
