Keens are great hiking shoes. Just keep in mind that they provide generous width in the toe box area but are typically short, so it's best to get a size larger or test fit at a nearby store that sells these.

I have 3 pair of brand new Keen mid hikers in my closet, and I just ordered another pair... These are amazing shoes, I wear them daily and they last me for well over a year. I do everything from hiking to walking all over the plant where I work in them, they are extremely comfortable. I have found that Keen fits true to size for me... I wear almost exclusively Keens, and do so because I have wide feet. But be aware they are no longer always wide, and now make a range of widths. These shoes here are not available in wide so I'll pass. Plus, they're camo.
