Super easy to install. Has a backplate for the wiring, and this face connects like a car stereo. You can remove from wall if you want to set your timings manually, or use the WiFi app. The 7 day programming is easy once you get the hang of it, just set the 4 different time preferences and your heat/cool amounts. Was completely worth the upgrade from the slider thermostat that came with the house.
