Starts 9/12. T-Mobile just announced they'll be offering anyone with at least two lines on their T-Mobile ONE service a standard (2 screens) Netflix subscription for Free (normally $9.99/month). If you want Netflix Premium (4 screens), T-Mobile will still pay for the subscription, but you will pay the difference via your phone bill.

Existing T-Mobile customers can activate (after 9/12) by using the app, calling customer service, or visiting a store; you'll get a URL to link your T-Mobile account with your Netflix account.

Been a long time TMobile customer and have always been super satisfied. Sure there are always going to be areas without coverage as is the case with all of them. Just depends on where you are/go if they make sense. Love how they challenge the money gouging industry. If you have a plan with free or discounted phones every 18-20 months you are probably paying too much. Buy the phone you need when you need it and get off the latest and greatest treadmill that drives the cost up a lot. There are many great new or refurbished phones that will give you 99% of the experience the new $700+ do. I never pay more than $150 for a phone. I have a LG G3 now I paid $100 for and think its great. We pay considerably more for cellular service than many parts of the world. My 2 cents..

Any advice what to do when T-mobile is not honoring a promotion that a phone sales person gave? they are billing me for something I should not be and they say I did not qualify for promotion and that they cannot do anything.

try contacting them over twitter DM, they generally respond fairly quickly.

I have been with TM for almost a year. I never had anything but excellent service either in the store or over the phone. If you are having issues, I would call them. I got two lines free during one of their promotions and they end up charging me for those two lines. I called them up and they said that it might take a few billing cycles to get my free lines. Sure enough, a few billing cycles goes through and my bill was discounted for the two bills that I was charged the extra lines.

I got another free line for another promotion they were having by asking them via their chat service. I just asked if I was qualified and the agent said yes. I just needed to buy their sim kit for $25. Once I agree to the $25 charge, she ordered me the sim kit. The whole transaction only took like 20 minutes.

I would recommend if you are not getting anywhere with your current agent, call back to see if you get another one. I do not know if it is luck or what, but I never had a bad TM agent experience.

Will the two lines on the 55 and up promotion ($50 for the first, $10 for the second) qualify to get Netflix?

Unfortunately, no go for the 55+ plan.

Be careful. Some of you may have an old promo Witt free lines that will actually be lower cost than this latest promo. I had two free lines that even with taxes cost $30 cheaper. Netflix is $10 normally, so would end up paying $20 more. In process of getting it reversed and so far they have been good about it, but will check if done right in a day or so when their systems update.

T-mobile ONE is $160 for 4 lines. In comparing to my current plan, $100 / 4 lines , I'd pay for Netflix myself. This is only good for new customers or ones who are already on T-mobile ONE.

My switch to T-Mobile 6 years ago was one of the best decisions I have made. So many amazing deals over the years. I have a free line from a year ago plus I pay the 20 bucks extra for (One Plus International) that gives me truly unlimited LTE hotspot! I regularly exceed 300Gb monthly downloads on one line that I have dedicated as the entire house's internet. It stays plugged in with it's hotspot on 24-7. Since it was a free line I basically only pay the 20 bucks extra. I get 40Mb+ down and 15Mb+ upload speeds (Beats any wired options I have easily). My main use is to stream Netflix on multiple TV and now they are offering to pay for that, LOL.

Plus, they now own 600Mhz spectrum which will put them above Verizon in coverage within the next couple of years. They are on track to be #1 if they keep this up, of course they already are as far as I'm concerned.

P.S. We need new phones to take advantage of this new spectrum. I don't believe even the new Note 8 is capable. This is why I am postponing any phone upgrades until something supports this new band.

I switched to the one plan from my old plan because after the auto bill pay credit ($5 per line) and the kickback credit ($10 per line that uses less than 2GB of data) and even adding a line to qualify for the BOGO S8 offer my bill is actually less. 6 lines $135 a month.

I have been with TMO for about 9 months (switched over from ATT). Just picked up this deal. There are some dead zones in my area but generally, I am happy with the coverage. The best part of TMO is the customer service. Whenever I have a problem, I just call or visit a store. Their support is top notch. I can tell you what a relief it is to know what your cell phone bill is going to be every month.
