I have arlo pro and have actually found the battery life to be pretty amazing. I can go at least 6 months before charging and have not had to replace a single battery yet, so I would call the batteries a strength and not a weakness of the product.
This bundle includes the rechargeable batteries. Just bought a 3-pack for $450 from Costco a couple of months ago so this is a good deal. It's only 720p but not a deal breaker to me.
I agree, battery life is a big factor when looking at security cameras. Arlo is one of the better options out there even though you can't expect more than 6 months for solutions that record/stream videos.
