Not many SSD sales these days. Good price for a drive from a reputable company. Good for general use or upgrading an older machine.
I wonder what's up? We were fast approaching $200/TB on SSD, and HDD was dropping 25-30%/yr until the Thailand Flood, but should have gotten back on track. Should be at 10TB for $250 or so.
I wonder what's up? From what I've read it has to do with the demand for NAND in smartphones. Some of the new 3D NAND should relieve some of the market pressure.
The inevitable problem is data is growing faster than storage density increases, and SMR HDDs aside as a bump in that road, it's only going to get worse.
Received the following error when attempting to use the code: "ERROR Your email address is not valid for redemption of promo code EMCXPEEV2."
Is this code valid only with a specific email address?
UPDATE: Apparently, you have to already be an email subscriber to be eligible for this specific promo. Otherwise, you have to sign up to qualify, but then will have to wait approximately one week to receive your first email.
