Have a couple friends that have done this and had good results. Pretty cool if you don't want new releases.

I sent them a message to see if it can be applied to current members. I'm on a monthly plan right now, use it once a week so far and I figure it's paying for itself.

I joined on October 1st for $9.95/month & it's been great so far! Hmmm, I wonder if they'll allow me to do this deal too!

Website actually says 6.95/mo (billed annually) That's $83.40/yr....if there's a $7 processing fee, that's ~$90, not $97. Must be trying to raise cash quick to keep operating. Trying to click through, I still don't see the option to do anything but 9.95/mo with Chrome but it shows 89.95/year (6.95/mo+6.55) if I try IE.

I definitely recommend the service. One deterrent: You do have to purchase the ticket the same day at the theater. Meaning, you can't purchase online or in advance. This means you miss out on prime showings like a new release at 7 PM. However, I watched Thor: Ragnorak at noon the day it came out and will watch Justice League tomorrow morning.

For current users, you can log in to your account on the website and switch over from the $9.99 monthly plan to the Annual plan.

I purchased a new plan under a different email account and cancelled the first account, that worked fine.

Love MoviePass!!!! All theaters, all regular new release movies (no IMAX and 3D). You can use the pass once a day.

I still don't know how they plan to turn a profit. I'd be worried they'll fold in less than a year.

Has any of you who are currently members tried to purchase 3D/IMAX tickets by having the theater charge part of the ticket on Moviepass MC and part with cash/another CC?

Anyone knows about how long it takes to get going with this movie pass subscription? I mean from the day you sign up. About how long does it take before you can use it to watch a movie?

I signed up in AUGUST and I still haven't been able to watch a movie. They never sent out a card, and there are no e-ticket options in the entire state of Arizona. I've tried contacting customer service two or three times a week for the last month, and they've never contacted me even once. They have a chat feature built into their app, but the only person you'll ever get to talk to is yourself. I started out talking all my friends into doing this - now I'm embarrassed and warning everyone I know to stay away!

I’m a little confused why does the sign up say you’ll get a card to use at the counter if a phone is required? Do you need both?
